Tempco FAQ - Attic Ventilation

If you have a vented attic, you want to make sure that you are getting the maximum amount of air flow.

At Tempo Insulation air shoots, also known as baffles are used in the soffit area and insulation is added to damn around them. This allows the air to flow through the baffle then be drawn out of the soffit into the attic. Many houses have attic fans, ceiling fans, or roof vents that allow the hot air to be drawn upward as the hot air rises naturally. This will allow the air to be drawn from soffit and out of the attic. This is way air shoots or baffles are important for a vented attic and why you should trust the experts for all your insulation needs.
